Electrofusion fittings how to electrically weld connections

PE electrofusion pipe fittings welding has the following steps:

1, when cutting the pipe to ensure that the pipe end is smooth and straight.

2、 Measure the length of electrofusion fittings from the stopper ring to the end of the fittings (half of the total length of the fittings without stopper ring).

3、 Mark the length of the pipe to be welded (i.e. the depth of insertion of the pipe) in step 2 with a marker pen.

4、 Use a scraper to scrape off the oxidised layer (0.1-0.2mm) on the marked length of the pipe and remove the burrs at the end of the pipe.

5、 Use acetone to clean the welded area at the pipe end and the inner surface of the pipe fittings, and use a clean rag to dry to ensure that the welded parts are completely dry, it is worth noting here is that do not touch the surface of the pipe and fittings have been cleaned and dried with your hands.

6. Insert the PE pipe into the fitting to the marking line and check the fit.

7、 Use the clamp to fix the PE pipe and the pipe fitting, make sure the centre line of the pipe and the pipe fitting are consistent, and make sure that they will not be shifted during the welding process.

8、 Insert the electrode plug of the welding machine into the electrode socket of the pipe fittings to ensure complete contact and then scan the barcode of the pipe fittings through the scanner of the welding machine (or manually) to input the welding parameters of the pipe fittings.

9、 Calibrate the welding parameters displayed by the welding machine, such as product type, voltage, heating time and cooling time, and then press the ‘Start’ button to start the welding process, during the welding of the joints, the entire connection can not be moved.

10, when the welding machine prompts the end of welding, the pipe fittings will be normal observation hole raised (according to the pipe and pipe fittings with different gaps, the height of the observation hole may be different).
